Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Google Agrees to Censor Results in China

Online search engine leader Google Inc. has agreed to censor its results in China, adhering to the country's free-speech restrictions in return for better access in the Internet's fastest growing market.

If they censor in China.
How do you guys know, honestly know if this has not happened already.. not in China but other parts of the world.
Three companies Google, Yahoo and MSN have the potential to censor lines of thought that goverments wish they had the power to.
I know you are saying ,well there is TV and Radio ok fine there is TV and Radio. with the news dominated by what 2 large 24/7 news agencies in the US and perhaps a half dozen on the planet.all of them losing market share to search engines and news.google.com news.yahoo.com and maybe drudgereport.
Well there you have it.the entire flow of information on the internet centered around a 1/2 dozen people.

I DO however find it ironic that the geeks with Google refuse to release files too the U.S. government but had NO problems meeting the Chinese demands before being allowed into that countries marketplace.

I think we should just chunk such companies out of the country in cases like this!

I am not a boy and am not afraid to post things I see disturbing or speak my mind orto let others see what is going on in the world and talk about it.Hunting forums are most likely being watched more than any otherforums on the web, because these forums are gun related and are more of a threat than any other forums on the web.I wouldn't be surprised if everyone on here are notallready tagged in one way or another by the government. I have nothing to be intimadated about. How about you now?Do you find some of the topics disturbing but don't speak your mind in open about them? That is called intimadated when you keep quiet.
