I don't need to look at any site or read a book to know one thing. If you get a govenment job you can be paid twice what you are worth, don't have to have half the intelligence you would in the private sector and you won't have any bothersome peformance levels or expected productivity to worry about.

Now tell me who makes the dough???

Its interesting that most of the jobs available for the nation's Best 100 companies to work for have little or no union involvement.

Unions are one of the biggest reasons so many jobs have left this country in the last two decades!

DannyD obviously that doesn't apply too ALL policemen (I have seen some "recruits" that wouldn't know a criminal if they shot them in the face tho, but luckily they are in the minority). Some government is necessary, but I honestly feel as though an even %50 at all levels from local too federal should be cut and sent home.

What I find unnerving is the number of average people standing in the checkout line at Wal-Mart with their weekly basketful of junk. Yet they are the exact same ones that can't seem to find meaningful employment in the manufacturing/producing segments of our economy anymore!
