How two faced can an "ally" be ?

On Sunday, the Dawn newspaper quoted unidentified senior Pakistani officials as saying al-Zawahri had been asked to dinner in Damadola along with two clerics, Maulvi Faqir Mohammad and Maulvi Liaqat, who are both wanted for harboring Islamic militants.

The Pakistani goob seems to know when Al Qaida's #2 man has been invited to dinner in a small remote village within their own border , yet they can't seem to have someone waiting there to arrest him when he arrives ? This man has a mulimillion dollar bounty on his head , why is he still free ? How did "senior officials" , who have to be informed by others in the field ,know well ahead of time that Al-Zawahri was supposed to be there and still allow him to slip through their fingers? [:@]

I don't trust anything the Pakistani government says. HOPEFULLY the bloodwork comes back a match on his DNA, though I'm doubtful. Then we can tell the protestors over there to go to h&ll.

I guess we have to be thankfull for the little help these fair weather allies give us?- im pretty sure its costing us many millions/billions having them as our not very helpfull allies.

Intill recently we couldnt even fly into there airspace or our troops cross there borders -after there big quake they wanted all kinds of our help of course- choopers,fixed wingaircraft, mash hospitals, medical miltary teams, food, housing etc etc(and its ongoing).

Our enemys live with our halfassed allies- nothing new& suprizing there.

Now if we couldjust figure out what one is what.

Like in afganistan etc - im sure we can still be used to get rid of some of there own poltical opponets& rivals if where used& minipulated right.


They have a image to upkeep- just like the goverment in the tsunami areas had- they cant apear to helpfull close or friendly with the ifadels or there could be repercussions.
