And the can of worms is once more opened ...

20,000 acre ranch with plenty of escape cover/terrain - Fair to the quarryandcomparable to very expensive leasing ,neutral but not for me.
High fenced slaughter farm 100acres with 3-6 acre killing pens and doped animals solely for trophy kill- Abomination, have attendedmeetings to abolish in my state , will never ever support. [:@]Grrrrrr !!!!

Bait/feeders illegal here - Neutral .
Food plots legal here- Same to me , neutral .

Due to personal convictions fair chase principles are my minimum standard , all other considerations are subject to individual review . Note: My standards are for me alone , hunt how you see fit if legal , but don't expect my support if our standards clash.

Hunt...To search or chase game.

Canned shooting is neither, you pay for an animal they take it to acage and you kill it .You don't have to kill it they will do it for you.
Hunting is not involvedpaying is .
To take a child and let them think this has anything to do with hunting is a joke.
My hatred for these slobs rates up there with people that fight dogs or cock fight.Animals are not our toys . They are for our enjoyment. And protection.
Anyone that does not resepct a deer should never hunt one.And if you lack the balls to go elk hunting you have no right to place one on your wall.
This is elk hunting.

I support hunting restrictions at about the same level I support restrictions on gun ownership.

There are many large ranches around here with high fences. Shooting a deer on the inside isn't any easier than shooting one on the outside. I would have no problem hunting on one. As the area the animal has to roam gets smaller, the less likely I would be to hunt there. But I hate to get a trend started outlawing everything the majority thinks is below their standards. Ifear legislatures using their broad brush strokes tobegin imposing moral and ethical standards for all to follow. I don't want to be held up to PETA's standards for the treatment of animals, as I'm sure others don't want to be held to my standards, either.

Probably so. I am solidly opposed to any type of restrictions. Right now, canned hunts are illegal in Texas (animal shot in small pen without being given "fair chase"). I don't agree with it, but had the measure not passed years ago, I would not support a new regulation now. However sincethis measure has been around for a while and has not been increased or addressed much since, I'm content to let this one slide. But any attempt to increase this limitation would draw my opposition. Some things I don't necessarilyagree with, but I fear opening a can of worms when the regulating starts.

If its legal i pretty much dont care what ppl do its up to then- just as its up to me to decide what i want hunting to be about for me - dosnt mean i agree with them.

I dont think its my job to help peta etc in there goals either.
