Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default 2 Bad sporting patterns starting up

This could be a sign of things to come and I think it might just get
worse.

But sometimes capitalism is not good for everyone. Personally I would like to see more public land available.

People have a right to do what they wish with the land they want. Someone could have raised more money than the hippies and we could hunters could have maintained control in Canada.

You're right. This isn't a good sign.

This is just the begining of the end.We live in a time when hunters spend money like it's piss on gadgets, new bows , quads & window stickers for their truck. But just try to tell some one to step up and buy some land and you'll get more excuses than rain drops.A whole bunch of you talk the talk but when it comes time to walk the walk and suck it up and work some overtime or drive on old truck you don't have it in you ,better go grab a new Switchback!!!

If you don't buy it , don't bitch about what the new owner does with it.

You know, we are to blame, I will not put it in the same terms as some, but we need to step up to the plate and start buying/leasing more land to hunt on, in addition to pushing our game departments to increase license fees to purchase more public hunting property.

I plan on buying my own property in about 5 years to hunt and live on.

You will never regret buying hunting land. Besides your children, you will get more happiness from working and bettering you own hunting area than anything in the world.
Every acre you save from development is an acre some kid might get to hunt in the future.

If you think it sucks now just wait till the Chineess start buying more American companies. They have no care at all about the enviroment or any other land use.The demand for paper is growing by leaps and bounds.American paper companies own millions of acres of land. When China buys these paper co.you can kiss your free hunting land goodbye.
Just another big plus for free trade!!!
