Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Thanks very much for posting that. We ought to all send this link to our non-hunting friends. This is a story that everyone needs to hear. The media stereotype of hunters is of people carelessly blasting at whatever moves and destroying habitat. I know this is way off base, but the non-hunters don't know and are at the mercy of the media caricatures of hunters.

Anyone else find the beginning of thisparagraph a little humorous?

Kind of off topic, but I don't understand anti-hunters in the least bit, anyway.

The only anti-hunters who have any credibility with me are those who never eat meat - I may disagree and think they have a screw loose, but at least they are consistent.

The people I don't understand are those that will go to lunch with me and while they scarf down a Big Mac claim that hunting animals is wrong, as if they don't understand the concept of where their burger came from. I mean, my wife has no desire to kill any animals and so she doesn't hunt personally, but she is up front about understanding that if you eat meat, it comes from somewhere - she would just prefer someone else do the killing for her.

People are weird everywhere, I guess.
