Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Are we going to talk death penalty now?

How many here are pro-life when it comes to abortion, but are for the death penalty? Because I notice that a lot of liberals are pro-choice for fetuses, but against the death penalty, whereas many conservatives are for the death penalty but are pro-life for fetuses.

Bawana Jim I find it hard to lend much creedance to the man's professed reforming when he still claims to be innocent.

He has had better than 20 years to restore a little respect for law enforcement by admiting that he wasn't wrongly convicted by "the man".

His continued actions have done nothing but to re-enforce that myth among the very group of people he claims to care the most about.

What is he afraid of by admiting the truth? That he will end up on death row, that is where he is already.

His refuseal to take respnsability for his actions would be the very reason I would keep him there if I were making the decision.

Thanks
Mr-Pirk

Years ago I was on the jurry for a murder trial. After sitting thru the trial was the worst thing I have ever done.Looking at pictures of an old man stabbed 72 times with a pair of shears. Then left to drown in his own blood. We sentenced him to death. And he deserved it.Five years later an outfit in Philadelphia had his sentence reduced to life. That was bull shi!t.They didn't sit through the trial or here the mans family speak of him.
I could have walked that piece of shi!t out of the court room across the street to the park and shot him on the spot. And today I would feel better for it.

Your comparing apples to oranges. There is a big difference, its called inoccents. One of the two in your scenario is convicted to death with out ever given a chance to commite a crime.

Im agianst the death penalty because of the cost to the tax payer. Since his bill is already paied, let him fry. No one crying over the 4 innocent people he killed for no reason. One was killed simply forfun and 120.00 bucks.[:'(] Not even for the 120.00 bucks,Tookie already had the cash, he killed the clerk for fun. I have littlesympathy for him.
