The NJ bear hunt is bak on !

Apparently cooler heads have prevailed and the hunters of New Jersey will get to go bear hunting after all . It's nice to see common sense ovecome litigation for a change . Now if they can just get that anti out of the F&G director's chair ...

In other words, volunteers will be fanning out hoping to disrupt the bear hunt. I hope they all get arrested.

hopefully if the anti's fan out and look for wounded bears the bears will take care of a lot of problems that hunters have with them and it will not cost the state a lot of money in the court system just bring a shovel and cover up what the bear finished

They aren't stupid - they also aren't looking for wounded bears. They are looking, as Cougar Mag said, to disrupt the hunt.

I wonder if NJ has hunter harassment laws? I know that in Maine it is a pretty hefty fine to intentionally harass someone for the purpose of disrupting their hunt. Hopefully NJ will have a similar law and enforce it.
