When you guys going to realize, they hook you with their anit-gun control speech, but want to take your public lands away? Keep supporting these neocons, and you can own a house full of guns, but won't have a place to shoot a rabbit.
I love the word 'neocon.' It's always a clue there is a flaming liberal in the room.
You really ought to get some help with your eyes, Mag. You seem to see everything in red and blue.
If you're really concerned about our public lands, rather than posting a hackneyed partisan smear, you might have tried to be a little pro-active and urged folks to contact their U.S. rep and senators and ask that the Pombo provision be stricken from the compromise version of the bill. I have contacted my reps and urge all others to do the same. It makes more sense to retain ownership of the land and collect royalties if we deem the nation needs the resource.
I might remind you that a lot of Dems voted for the bill containing this amendment. The Senate version of the Budget Reconciliation doesn't contain it. Hopefully it will be stricken from the compromise bill.
Senate minority leader Reid is opposed to it, but for another reason. It would abolish the Nevada law that allows the state to keep the money from the sale of U.S. lands there.
So tell us, Mag. Before I challeged you to do something constructive, had you let your elected officials hear from you on this important issue? Tell the truth, now.
It's been my experience that those who rant the loudest and most partisan usually are the least participative in the process.
For the record, I have served my country for the last 11 years now, and have been involved in disaster response, support for our guys inKorea, etc. Cannot say much more due to new guidelines release of info, etc.
Since we are playing tit for tat, what have YOU done to support your country in the last 15 years?
I'd hate for you to tell us any more, they might have to kill you!
Glad you've let your feelings known to your reps. Too bad you didn't ask others to to the same in your original partisan rant. You would have looked so much more sincere.
Careful there with that patting yourself on the back, Mag, or you'll have shoulder as well as eye problems.
Most real men with real accomplishments don't feel the need to brag, Mag.
Like most of your posts when you can't articulate anything pertinant to the issue at hand you resort with a bluster of hot air and personal attacks. Why is it so hard for liberals to deal with facts?

Mag, this is pathetic. To brag about your "superiority" and launch an attack on someone else if they don't live up to your "great contribution to society."
How about this one: For the past 11 years, underdog and everyone else here has paid your salary.
"It's been my experience that those who rant the loudest and most partisan usually are the least participative in the process. "
Just my way of saying, "Hey I do participate in the process, I try to be part of the solution, NOT the problem, what do YOU do other than sit there and regurgitate Rush Limbaugh talking points and count your money".
Of course the answer given by underdog is "I am too distinguished to brag" which is crap. It's not bragging, it is simply stating a fact. I AM part of the process. Personally, I think that means I have EARNED the right to bitch if I so desire.
As far as pathetic ethopie, you might consider looking in a mirror. Supporting the Republicans who want to outsource your job and criticize teachers at every corner, while you take taxpayer's dollars for your paycheckis pretty pathetic in my book.
Even a hamster knows you don't **** where you eat.
