Bush nominates Alito to high court!

Judge Samuel Alito, Jr., in the Third Circuit, has argued that Congress has no right to regulate the private possession of machine guns

I heard some commentary on the radio that he is sometimes called "Scalito" because he is like Scalia in his views. Think we have a filibuster brewing?

There will be a BIG fight over this one. Make sure you've got good batteries in your remote, the Democrats are going to be whining on the TV.

So, if someone doesn't agree with your political views, they are low?

Are you better than others? Are you morally superior?

Does that go for anyone that disagrees with you on any topic, or just politics?

When no alternative solution is offered. Which has been their MO for the past 5 years.

But, they have the right to whine as much as they want.

Correct me if I'm wrong BUT didn't Harry Reid (one of those Dems) "suggest" Harriet Miers to President Bush and didn't Bush nominate Miers? I think it was the Republicans who complained that Miers was too moderate, most of the Dems thought Miers was a good choice and Bush who defended Miers against conservatives.
