New Bond: I hate guns

Daniel Craig will have a problem playing the new James Bond - because he hates guns.

The actor will wield 007's famous Walther PPK in the movie Casino Royale.

But he revealed in OK! magazine: "I hate handguns. Handguns are used to shoot people and as long as they are around, people will shoot each other.

"That's a simple fact. I've seen a bullet wound and it was a mess. It was on a shoot and it scared me. Bullets have a nasty habit of finding their target and that's what's scary about them."

There has only been ONE Bond in my mind and that was Sean Connery! The rest have been wimps. Roger Moore hates guns, too.

Amazing how these Hollywood libs can be anti-gun, but not enough so to let it get in the way of making money.

You've got that right. So many actors are absolute hypocrites. They hate guns yet make movies with lots of guns, violence, killing, torture, etc. and then run to the bank with money from these films. Nothing but hypocrites.[:@]

i agree sean connery was the only one. i also watched an interview with the guy who played the magi in the mummy and the mummy returns , he also played in resident evil . in the latter he wielded heavy fire power. a couple of desert eagle .50 cals. and a fully auto assault rifle. in the interview he stated he hated guns and was anti handgun. it always seems that these people shoot up the world in a movie but yet are anti gun. it just proves that they are only anti gun when its not getting in the way of M O N E Y. you know these wingnuts are always shooting thier mouths off about being anti this or that but they are never anti money.

Typical left-wing Holllywood hypocrisy. As for me, I hate cars. They kill people all the time. I am certainlyin favor of banning all cars. At least until tomorrow morning when I have to drive to work.

Don't forget that a good percentage of these stars own guns themselves because they're afraid of people who own guns. The ones who don't own guns have bodyguards and thus have multiple guns around them all the time!
