Alaska gun laws take effect Wednesday

Reported by CNN, A new state anti-gun control law that goes into effect will essentially bar municipalities from passing gun laws that are more restrictive than state law.

Texas has had pre-emption on the books for years. It is a big, big help in keeping the major cities from running the state.
