Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default A look at the ACLU

This is one sick organization...

Here are some issues the ACLU supports:
[ul][*]Legalization of homosexual marriage[*]Legalization of child pornography[*]Legalization of prostitution[*]Legalization of live sex acts in public[*]Legalization of sex between adults and children[*]The ACLU defends the North American Man Boy Love Association whose motto is "sex before 8 or it is too late."[*]Removing "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance[*]Removing our motto "In God We Trust" from our money[*]Forcing the Boy Scouts to accept homosexual scout leaders[*]Removing prayer from school and public events[*]Abortion on demand, without parental consent[*]Legalizing illicit drugs[*]Physician assisted suicide[*]Partial-birth abortion[*]Mandatory sex education[*]Legalized polygamy[*]Tax supported profane art[/ul]
Here is what the ACLU is against:
[ul][*]Parental notification for minors having abortion[*]School vouchers[*]Filters on public library computers[*]Student led prayer in schools[*]Nativity scenes on public property[*]Sex offender registries[*]Broadcast decency laws[*]"Choose Life" license plates[*]Tax exemptions for churches[*]Posting of the Ten Commandments of public property[*]Prayers before high school football games[*]Parental consent laws[*]"Abstinence before marriage" sex education[/ul]

I didn't realize that. I've long despised the ACLU but did not realize they're in support of pedophilia. That's absolutely disgusting. How can ANYONE, especially the supposedly-education politicians of America, give ACLU an ounce of credibility if they support such a thing? [:@]

Instead of calling themselves the American Civil Liberties Union, they should call themselves the American Criminal Liberties Union.[:@]

I get emails from the American Family Association:

www.afa.net

Honestly, I haven't researched beyond the article this site sent me regarding the ACLU, but this site has proved in the past to be fairly reliable.

Basically the "civil liberties" are contained in the first 10 amendments to the US constitution. You would think that the ACLU -- with all the warts pointed out by the initial post -- might at least provide some support for the second amendment, one of our "civil liberties." No way. Read what the ACLU says about the second amendment and gun control on their own web site.

Basically the ACLU says any and every gun control regulation is OK with them. What a cesspool of hypocrites. They have a definite agenda, and it isn't protecting our civil liberties, otherwise they would be just as sticky about infringing our second amendment right as they are about regulations and laws that infringe our first amendment right and our fourth amendment right, etc.
