Default UNIVERSITY BOMBING WAS A TERRORIST PLOT

IAM NOT SURE IF THIS REPORT BELONGS HERE, I THOUGHT MAYBE THE POLITIC PAGE, BUT THIS IS THE DANGER WE FACE FROM A RELIGIOUS GROUP, AND WE NEED TO BE IN PRAYER ABOUT THIS AS WELL AS VIGILANT;

REPORT: OKLAHOMA UNIVERSITY BOMBING WAS PLOT GONE AWRY: "OTHERS WERE INVOLVED"
Isralert.com source: Isralert subscriber/intelligence analyst Bruce Tefft

ISLAMIC TERRORISTS IN THE U.S. HEARTLAND ALLEGED TO BE COMPLICIT, REPORTEDLY "USED" HINRICHS
by Douglas J. Hagmann, Director
http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/

4 October 2005; 11:15 PM EDT: According to confidential sources close to the University of Oklahoma bombing probe, HINRICHS was just one of several others involved in a much larger, much more sinister and pre-planned terrorist plot in the war of Islamic terrorists versus the West in a bombing plot designed to kill innocent Americans, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the details of the investigation but speaking on the condition of anonymity.

In a story that received virtually no media attention since the Saturday “lone suicide bombing" at the O.U. football stadium packed with 84,000 fans, details are emerging that a larger-scale Islamic terrorist operation was to revisit America's heartland for the second time in a decade. Initially, the reports were conflicting, than were manipulated to downplay the threat posed to the backbone of Americana to avoid piercing the false veil of security due to the “apparent lack of any successful Islamic terrorist attacks on U.S. soil since 9/11.”

The Northeast Intelligence Network <http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/> has received exclusive information from reliable law enforcement sources that the explosion that killed 21 year-old O.U. student Joel Henry HINRICHS III was to be much larger and was part of a much more deadly planned attack targeting the fans in the packed stadium. In the style reminiscent of the blast at the Murrah building <http://www.jaynadavis.com/> that killed 71 people on 19 April 1995, it was also confirmed that HINRICHS attempted to purchase a large quantity of the fertilizer ammonium nitrate, the very same compound that was used in the Ryder truck bomb just miles from where the Murrah building once stood, and a favorite bomb component used by Middle Eastern terrorists.

”It appears that HINRICHS was part of a larger plan that included members of an Islamic terrorist cell based in and around the Norman and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. As a Caucasian, it was much easier for him to obtain the materials needed to create a large bomb, act in concert with members of the local terrorist cell, and strike when relative calm was the word of the day,” stated this source.

The source added: “Federal authorities are investigating HINRICH’S roommates, friends and companions, some from Pakistan, who were on a watch list of potential terrorists in that area. Thankfully, more than a few things went wrong, but the failed plan left HINRICHS holding the bag in the end â€" literally,” added this source. “Otherwise, we would have had a bombing on the scale of Oklahoma City in 1995.”

[blockquote]Law enforcement sources close to the Northeast Intelligence Network have confirmed that search and seizure warrants were served today upon the residence of the "suicide bomber," 21-year-old Joel Henry Hinrichs III of Colorado Springs, CO, who was a resident of the Park View Apartments on campus. Speaking strictly "off the record," the officials stated that they recovered "a

[blockquote]significant amount" of Islamic "Jihad" type literature, some possibly written in Arabic, along with the suspect's computer. Some of the documentation included material on how to construct bomb-making vests. [/blockquote]

Further reports by the same officials indicated that the bomb was

[blockquote]detonated prematurely when the suspect was either arming a bomb vest or backpack, which contained TATP, a homemade explosive. TATP (triacetone triperoxide) is a very potent but relatively easily manufactured explosive compound that was used in the July London bombings. It is important to note that TATP has been cited in numerous Jihad bomb-making manuals. [/blockquote]

[align=center]Why Aren't We Being Told More Facts About the OKlahoma Suicide Bomber? What
are the FBI and Joint Terrorism Task Force Investigating?

acts.html[/align][/blockquote]

[blockquote]University of Oklahoma President David Boren seems determined to have
everybody believe Joel Henry Hinrichs III was merely a disturbed young man
who decided to commit suicide by blowing himself up within 100 yards of a
stadium containing 84,000 screaming fans of Sooner football.

Sorry, I don't buy it, at least not yet. Here's why: First, The Daily
Oklahoman is reporting authorities found a large cache of bomb-making
materials in Hinrichs' apartment. The cache is so big that the Oklahoman
reported one of the officials on the scene estimated a full 24 hours would
be required to cart away all of the material.

Suicide victims don't normally accumulate a large amount of bomb-making
material in their homes. People intent on blowing up other people do.

Second, the proximity to the stadium suggests Hinrichs' target was the
crowd, perhaps as people were leaving the game. But being an OU student, he
presumably would have access to the student seating section and could have
gone from that area to anywhere else in the crowd he chose.

What better place to detonate a bomb guaranteed to both kill and maim many,
as well as incite terror and possibly a stampede that would kill and injure
more people? My guess is Hinrichs was kept from reaching his target by a
premature detonation. Add the proximty of the Micro-Biology building and you
may have the potential for a kind of bio-bomb that could have guaranteed
utter chaos in and around the stadium.

Third, why was Boren sufficiently familiar with Hinrichs to so quickly issue
an opinion about his motive in the bombing? When he resigned in November
1994 as an Oklahoma senator, Boren was chairman of the Senate Select
Committee on Intelligence. He left the Senate just after the Democrats lost
their majority in the GOP sweep of 1994.

Add to his Senate years the presence of an active and long-established
Muslim student presence on the OU campus stemming in great part from the
school's excellent Petroleum Engineering program, and it stands to reason
that Boren has been privy to intelligence briefings as head of the school.
He almost certainly has maintained excellent contacts within the U.S.
intelligence community made during his tenure as chairman of the Senate
committee. Is that how he knew so quickly of Hinrichs?

Fourth, in one of the photos appearing in the media, Hinrichs appears to
have a fresh beard, which is characteristic of new Muslim male converts. His
father told The Oklahoman his son was a quiet, intellectual type, but he had
no idea what might have incited him to take his own life. We can only assume
the father also didn't know of the bomb-making material in his son's
apartment. Perhaps we are dealing with a recent or a secret convert?

Finally, if Hinrichs was just a disturbed guy who decided to kill himself
with a bomb 100 yards from a crowd of 84,000 people instead of simply
putting a bullet through his temple, slashing his wrists or some other
traditional way of doing away with himself, why is the FBI and the Joint
Terrorism Task Force now the lead agency in the investigation?[/blockquote]

Radical Islamists groups in the US plan to teach young Muslims about extremism and 'how to spot susceptible youth'
This item is available on the Militant Islam Monitor website, at http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/1129

Al Qaeda linked Muslim America Society which ran Jihad and Afterlife camps in US urges mosques to lauch more Scout troops

October 3, 2005. MIM: The Muslim American Society and it's affiliate the Islamic Circle of North America, is now touting their bogus attempts to combat extremism when, they are one of the biggest groups encouraging radical Islam in North America.

MAS/ICNA run the Young Muslims organisation which has held Jihad and Afterlife camps for boys and organisizes trips to Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, to teach Muslim youth how to serve the cause of Islam and dedicate their lives to the service of Allah. Case in point are the MAS's support for the defense of American born Jihadi's Ali Al Tamimi and Abu Ali."The Muslim American Society has vigorously defended Abu Ali. Asked whether that contradicted his group's new campaign against extremism, Bray said no. His organization, he said, was concerned that Abu Ali's rights had been violated since he had been held in a Saudi prison for more than a year without charges...

"The potential for American born Muslims to turn to terrorism was confirmed by 21 year old Georgetown University Student Al-Sarraf who is the leader of the group supposed to tackle extremism."...Are we Muslim? Are we American? A lot of [Muslim] people see this as a zero-sum game," Al-Sarraf said.

The problem, he said, is many young Muslims are unmoored from their immigrant parents' identities. But, as members of a religious minority who often refrain from drinking alcohol and dating, Muslim youth struggle to figure out how they fit into U.S. culture."We don't really have a strong identity as ourselves. When someone [radical] tells us something, we can sway that way," Al-Sarraf said. His group wants to increase civic participation among young Muslims and urge them to more critically examine extremist religious views.

"There's a sense among a lot of people we need to take charge of our own future," he said

Note that Abu Sarraf excuses extremism by disingenuously claiming that the Muslim youth are a religious minority and have difficulties fitting in because they do not drink alcohol and date.

Let Abu Sarraf (and MAS) answer the question as to why other 'religious minorities' in the US who adhere to an even stricter code of conduct then Islam, are not turning to terrorism and becoming suicide bombers.

One must conclude that Abu Sarraf's statement vis a vis Muslim youth that: When someone (radical) tells us something we can sway that way" is a classic case of 'it takes one to know one'.

In the process of falsely presenting himself as someone helping pinpoint ticking bombs among young Muslims, Abu Sarraf has revealed himself as the poster boy for the problem.

Even more omininously, Al Sarraf's statement that his group wants to increase civic participation among young Muslims reflects the standard MO of radical Islamist groups like MAS/.ICNA which encourage Jihad from without and within the system via political involvement on the local and national level. The reference to having a 'sense of taking charge of our own future' refers to the Muslim goal of Islam being the dominant religion in a 'United States of Allah'.

There are a lot of rumors around Norman conflicting with FBI and Boren's statements. It's a fact admitted by the Norman PD that Hinrichs tried to purchase ammonium nitrate and Ellison's Feed & Seed in Norman last week. The quantity I heard was 20 bags and the guy didn't have a lawn.

Norman/OKC has been a hotbed of terrorist activity prior to the OKC bombing which has links to Iraq in my mind. No question the FBI lied and continues to do so about information on the OKC bombing. Why would they come out with a statment distancing this act from terrorism before their investigation is completed?

I got a phone call a few minutes after the explosion to inform me to get out of the stadium if I was there. But I was a thousand miles away watching the OU/KState game on ESPN Game Day. My son was there and I called him and advised him to leave the stadium.

Hard to separate fact from rumor at this stage of the game, but there is a rumor among law enforcement that Hinrichs tried to enter the stadium with a backpack and was turned away. In fact that he refused a search and ran away. After his picture was posted private security guards claim they have identified him as the person who tried to enter the stadium with the backpack.

We may have dodged a bullet here.

Very true Charlie just look at the URL, if it was a government site it would have ended in ".gov" instead of ".com".

Default RE: UNIVERSITY BOMBING WAS A TERRORIST PLOT

Charlie, That is exactly what Jayna Davis is saying. She has written a book called The Third Terrorist that is a must read. It would need to be another thread as there is just too much to get your mind around and mix with this one.

Jayna Davis is getting involved in the coverage of this story and is an excellent investigative reporter. She worked for an OKC tv station and covered the OKC Bombing. She has dealt with the same players when they covered up evidence on the OKC Bombing.

There is a lot of unconfirmed reports going around, but we do know that Hinrichs tried to buy ammonium nitrate last week. Confirmed by Norman PD and Dustin Ellison whom I know personally.

We also know that the Justice Dept. went to federal court this week and was successful in sealing the search warrant of Hinrich's univeristy apartment. Why would they do this when FBI and OU have both issued statements saying this is a single act of suicide?

Most likely because they want to keep evidence of links to others quiet so they can apprehend others if this was a terrorist plot. But then FBI has had a mosque not two blocks from Hinrich's apartment under surveillance since the early 90's.

I know of no other reason for the feds to suppressinformation regarding a suicide other than a link to terrorism and national security.
