Default Florida introducing law to protect employees' gun rights

Last week we discussed the lawsuits going on in OK and the NRA-sponsored boycott of Conoco Phillips for interfering with employees' constitutional rights.

NRA has plans to get laws similar to the OK law in all 50 states and the first is being introduced in FL, a state that has been a trendsetter in gun rights.

This article from the Orlando Sentinel is a little long, so I'm only going to post an intro and you can link to read the full article.

My arm is getting worn out from tipping my hat to NRA lately.

TALLAHASSEE -- Florida businesses could soon face criminal charges if they try to stop employees from bringing guns to work in their cars, thrusting the state into a growing national debate pitting individual freedom against job safety.

Backed by the National Rifle Association, two state lawmakers have filed bills that would allow workers to have guns at work, as long as the weapons remain locked in their vehicles. ...

Sadly I work at a fed work site so it would not matter what state law was, I could not bring my guns to work.
