If you read the above quote from the article you will see there is no tie in between the two. Look at this quote in particular "since the government began surveying crime victims in 1973", since they did not start keeping these stats until 1973 there is no way to compare pre and post Roe Vs. Wade!

I guess I am really confused. I can't see how discussion about crime rate can be tied in with Roe VS Wade. There are at least 2 things that limit crime. One is that people see the light, develop a conscience and do the right thing (ya right). Second is that there is a larger authority presence which limits lawlessness due to fear of getting caught. If crime is down, which I doubt, then I would view #2 as a major cause.
