I have been reading these posts in this forumfor a few years, I do not post that much, but I visit here every day. It seems that this site is getting more and more liberal. Theres alwaysposts of people who say they are republican/conservative and now are not happy withwith this administration and bash Bush everychance they get.Theysay theyare not voting this way any more and try to sway people to vote Libertarian or other. ( is it me or has this site been infiltrated). I know there was always disagreements on political issues, but the last 6-8 months seems to bevery strong for the left. Does anyone else feel this way? or am I reading into this wrong,Just my 2 cents

Any time you have a single party with a majority of power you lose scape goats. Ill be the first to say im not conservative, or liberal. I best descibe myself as logical. I vote for what seems right, reguardless of party. I approve of some of what Bush does, and also disapprove of other things he does. I feel it is sheepish to blindly follow anyone or anything.

don't notice it's leaned too far to the left. but since i've been described as "leftist" (by others, i consider myself a moderate) i might not be objective.

don't think i'd use the term "infiltrate" either...we're not a secret cabal.

Now bawanajim, I am NOT a liberal.

I have noticed how more members post liberal thoughts or moderate ones on this board. As Bush's presidency goes on, more people have become critical of him. It does seem like less members are posting consrvative topics and/or arguments. I can remember a time not too far back when the token liberals/slash moderates complained about how this board was almost 100% conservative and would blast anybody who opposed Bush, our troops, america, etc. It's changing a little but I anticipate it will swing back towards more conservatives posting. Especially as the next presidential election gets here.

As for members leaving the BBS, FNG was a constitutionalist/libertarian and Data/SC was a conservative. Those are the 2 members I'm aware of who truly are banned from HNI. Aught six is not banned as of 1 minute ago. Some other members (mainly conservative) are boycotting HNI out of sympathy and solidarity. I would like to see all of them come back as their opinions and posts are missed.
