Default STATISTICS...

Last week the government released its most recent study of unemployment. It found a 4 year downward slide, with this past year adding 1.1 million more. When asked about this problem our pres. said "my office dosen't see the numbers coming out that way". Now i'm not rep.,dem., lib., cons., or any of the other labels we all hear. I just wonder why doesn't he see things that are fact? I sure wish he were in my part of the country trying to get a job.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in Aug. of 2000, there were 142.5 million Americans in our work force and in Aug. of 2005 there were 149.8 million Americans employed. What part of this don't you understand?

If you're gonna quote 'government surveys' then cite them. The BLS seems to have a glitch in their website, but let's stick to the facts, ...Deleted by CalHunter... Go to http://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/empsit_09022005.pdf. Now tell me how jobs are on a four-year slide?
