Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default I Predict.....

Gang violence across the nation at an all time high.

Rioting across the nation at an all time high.

This mess turning into the biggest racial nightmare this country has seen in a long time.

UN troop involvement before it's over.

Extreme recession.

Marshall law declared in many regions, if not the entire country.

Concentration or holding camps opened for the first time to house the animals captured in NO.

This used as a catalyst for extreme gun control.

New Orleans is Sinking.

What about you?

I KNOW Bush's approval rating will sink to an all time low. Boy, is he lucky he doesn't have to face an election.

How is our country supposed to take care of it's own when our forces are stuck half way around the world?

If there were some kind of disaster that affected my area, I know my family would stay together and rebuild our family homes. We wouldn't be, even in another state, rebuilding some else's problems.

FAMILY FIRST. OUR FAMILY, NOT SOME OTHER FAMILY WE DON'T KNOW.

Maybe, and just maybe would we offer to help others AFTER we took care of ourselves.

What makes me sick is how fast the other side and those who support them are using this tragedy for political gain;Senator Biden for example. No matter what side of the isle you come from politics for the sake of potential votes has no place during this time.It takes time to mobilize people for such a huge task, but we will get it done.

I don't think it'll be anything close to that. You underestimate America!

We do need to rein in these gas prices, though, or they're going to drive us a long way towards that recession!

I agree there are problems-(like they could have foreseen& planed a little better on this )but like these mentioned- not really .

As was said "IT" will get done.

But i think the media is doing what it always does - hyping the negitive. Showing the bad side only orfocusing on that(and the left who love it as a poltical tool).

They do it with our military in iraq/afgani. They do it before. durining & after any riots in this country to- they seem to like to fan the flames & make the news happen as they go along- i have seen it plenty. PPl are influnced , lead by the noses with all the negtive images& hype that comes from our storyteller medias.

But this latest natural event to shal pass& its after effects & we will be ok- back to normal again( gun control & suppersion of freedoms & new laws etc will still be there like always- they will just be taken slower in a less dramatic, noticable to most manner- as is normal too)

With gas prices going as high as they are,we will see the economy kill the average working man.I'm on SS disability and my check went up $20 a month while my cost of living is going through the roof.Just my gas costs have gone upover $1000 a year at just 1 tank a week.If prices continue to rise,I don't know what me and my family will be able to do.

I agree with much of your assessment, but this one grabbed my attention. After seeing all the looting and violence committed by the maggots in NO, I think our guns will be alright. Who wouldn't want a gun at home for protection during times like this?

The federal government does not want you to have guns anywhere. The nuts of this country will pile on the guns are bad bandwagon with this one. Police are turning in their badges saying enough is enough, let the animals have NO. Yep, it'll get ugly.

I too hope I'm wrong, and no, I'm not underestimating Americans. I think we all should not underestimate the big picture plan in place nor underestimate the power our government wishes to have over its citizens though. They will stop at nothing, as prophecied, to make sure that happens.

Call me what you will, but this comes to me as no surprise at all after the latest Israel deal. Bush claims to be a Christian yet insists on leading us into THE biggest hornets nest of all time - the Bible clearly states what happens to people that mess with Israel. Take a look around, Christian or not, you have to wonder what the heck is going on in the world today. Scary, yet exciting at the same time.
