Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default WTF Bush!

This president has committed acts of treason against the people of the country.

He has led us to war, for unjust causes. He has then lied to the people about intelligence used for that cause. He has then kept our forces in that country beyond a reasonable amount of time. AND...he keeps a safe distance from any wrongdoing...excusing himself from accountability and responsibility.

Can anyone say Karl Rove and not shiver?

He has taken more vacation days than any president in history...with the worst terrorist attack on our soil ever, with massive natural catastrophes occurring frequently, and while engaged in a 2 front war---yes, let us not forget that we still have troops in Afghanistan.

Gas is at an all-time inflationary high. Period. $3 a gallon refined to the average worker, whereas the major producers keep hauling in quarterly profit margins at record pace. Price gouging...not when half the cabinet have huge gains from oil stocks going in their favor...

In the wake of everything, Bush simply smiles and says we must keep up the good fight.

Mr. President, I must ask, what is the good fight? Is it to start a revolution and overturn our corrupt political, legislative and judicial systems?

Is it to start a worldwide petition and have you impeached on charges of treason?

Tell me, Mr. President, if you can spare the time from your days of relaxation, exactly what/who/when/how to fight the good fight, and I shall show my patriotic colors.

But until you get your head out of your ass, please do not ask me or any other American to call you "Mr. President" any longer...

A year ago I was on this forum and by November I had a pretty good idea that GWB would carry the heartland in the election and was I wrong? Even with the wars and the SPIKES in fuel costs. I guess they've given up to the Dems next time eh??

It is scary times we are in now.

I think if we didn't have a President with convictions we would be a lot worse off.

Maybe not right now at this minute, it may take years to feel the effects of un-tethered terrorism but it would be worse.

As for the oil problem, I agreee...he must do something. But impeach? Hell, if that were the case J. Carter would still be in jail...

It will be interesting to see just what Bush does. He needs to do something or else the recovering economy will go downhill with these ridiculous oil and gas prices.

I hope when we get a new face in '08 that we get someone who will truly guide our country to a higher level. The dirty politics and partisanship prevent anything from getting done. The government needs to be run like a business not a county club.
