Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Katrina was our tsunami. Any countries offering aid to us?

I haven't heard anything about some other country trying to help US out. Looks like it is a one-way street. Any inclement weather in some other country and we are expected to foot the bill and send manpower. The other way around, and you hear crickets chirping!

I've been thinking about this before Katrina came ashore. The rest of the world help us out? Right.

Easy, easy gents... Help is on the way.

Our neighbors and close allies are chipping in as we type...see listbelow.

1) Mexico has agreed to provide 3 million more illegal workers to clean up the mess 'causeAmericans don't want such jobs anyway.

2) Saudi Arabia has agreed to sell us more oil to offset the lost production in the gulf at a mere $92/barrel.

3) A Chinese company has agreed to rebuild the oil well platforms and refineries under "No-Bid" "Cost-Plus" terms in exchange for immunity from federal prosecution if they are caught overcharging the government for thier services.

Don't worry,, everything is just fine.

After the stupid Americans donated over 100 million dollars for the tsunami victims,in our time of need the rest of the world helps us with nothing.Time for the U.S. to realize that charity begins at home and quit giving out our money for foreign aid.I say that if nobody comes forward to help us,the U.S.should immediately cut off all foreign aid and use it to help our own country which has a great need now.Where are all these guys like Datamax that thought that we were so right to send money for the tsunami and then now we are short money for our own people? They should be donating all they can to help our own countrymen.

Time for Bushski to come off vacation and start to earn his pay again. Oh I just saw he did a fly over New Orleans and is headed back to the White House. From where I sit we have more troubles than any of the mid east countries. Get the troops home because we need them here more than they are needed there.

I'm sorry.I was wrong. The stupid Americans donated more than 1 billion dollars for the tsunami victims.Let's hope that our "tsunami" victims get the same response from other countries.

I wouldn't say Katrina was like the "Tsumani" atleast we had a few days warning. And thank God not the massive amount of lives lost. On the other hand I feel all these countries we helped out should be turning around, right now, and helping us out a little. Instead they are begging for loans to be forgiven. That's BS. Cause with every "Loan" the USA gives out they usually give more in aid/grant money. If they don't help out I say F-them the next time they need something. This is one of the very reasons we are losing respect in the world. We are the rich parents that give and give to their spoiled brats (other countries)and only get kicked when we are down.

I would say that Katrina was like the tsunami. The victims of the tsunami were warned ahead of time by a scientist. The devastation in the U.S. is just as bad if not far worse. Our damages are farther inland than for the tsunami. There was no way for the whole city of New Orleans to get out in time. Many tried but couldn't.
