Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

It would be( only slightly)..better than Kerry.
What bothers me, is the republicans haven't been grooming anyone for the next run!

The Republicans? Are you going to try and convince me the Republicans are in charge? No way - Republicans don't spend like this crowd does. Republican leadership doesn't sign every piece of ridiculous legislation that comes to their desk. Republicans LEAD - and that's not what is going on now. Democrats must be running things...

I think it's way too early to be worrying about who is running against who and who is leading in polls. Howard Dean was waaay ahead in the polls at this time the last time around and he flamed out in a matter of two weeks.

rick reno: you are dead on.

Honestly I'm a little embarrassed to be a Republican these days. We have a golden opportunity and we are squandering it with the spending and lack of border security. It's ridiculous. I'm thinking of becoming an Independent.

I'll be first in line to vote for her. I used to vote republican in favor of responsible spending - I cast aside the conservationist in me, and voted with my wallet.

Now, the democrat is the CHEAPER alternative, AND she spends the dough the way I want it spent... I win both ways.

I agree that voting Republican, unfortunately, no longer means you'll necessarily get fiscal conservatism. But voting Democrat isn't "cheaper." If you think it is, I've got a hybrid vehicle for sale that actually gets the 50 mpg that it claims.

I don't know you but I somehow don't believe you ever voted Republican. I can't see how one could go from voting Republican to being the "first in line" to vote for Hillary. Course, I guess anything is possible. The Red Sox won the series last year. . .

I think Hillary Vs. Arnold would be a great race in 2008.

It could be the first combination of a P.T. Barnum freakshow and a Presidential election. The sad part is, one of them would be elected in the end.
