Why do so many people think a TIP is mandatory? I don"™t know if your complaint is valid or not, but I do not fee compelled to leave a TIP if the service is only mediocre. TIP"™s are for exceptional servers not run of the mill stuff.

Considering the scale of both the meal and the ticket I see where you're coming from . Normally I would agree with AAA , but this time I feel that the patron could have been a little less frugal . It certainly sounds like you'd met the criteria for a very good tip , pity that you had to serve such a pig . C'est la vie ...

That stinks![:'(] Especially when, in many places waiters are paid less than min. wag, but taxed for making the full amount, because "they'll make up the difference in tips" The guy is a [insert word of choice] and this only proves it more.
