Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Damn, they're really getting down to business. Ceratinly can't blame them, but with all the liberal politcal garbage over there (got to love the mayor of London, right?), I was startingto thinkthe iron will and tough determination made famous during WW2 was a thing of the past.

That's why these scumbag terroristsmurder people in the street instead of fighting in the field--they're frickin' cowards. One more down....

I think they have giant bins/contaniors of things confiscated boarding planes, tweezers nail clipers etc.
No longer can you have a bic or lighter i dont think but 4 packs of matchs is ok?
.................................................. .........
If you gave all adult passangers boarding planes ,trains etc a razor instead- what highjacker/bomber who dosnt gain control/ or go off dosnt get off at the next stop in one piece instead.
Like you said there cowards- they will go after those who cant fight back very well ....... it is hard to defend against those/these things for anyone.........
I belive 30-40? yrs ago it was the Jews school houses- till they got uzi,s/ m-16,s for more persons.
In russia recently& many other places times- including there own- they show the cowards they are murdering unarmed ppl, women& children.

Im New york subways& trains well be randomly searched pplstoped every 5-10th person? so as not to be profiling anyone by race, orgin (pakage size?) etc ( the pc policia?)
Whata crowded place too.

Jimminy Christmas, now the London police are saying the guy the blew away wasn't even connected to the bombings. Wth?!

We're definitely not getting the whole story here. They say they observed him leaving a house under surveillance since the first bombing, saw him enter the subway wearing a padded jacket (in 70°+ weather), and run full speed from police when they tried to stop him. Ah, but the cop who killed him was plain-clothed. Knowing how much of an advantage the criminals have over there against an unarmed general public, I might've run too.

They're still not saying who he is...but I have a feeling his family is going to have something to say in court. Nice going, bobbies.

Earlier, a London police official said on condition of anonymity that the victim was not connected to either set of attacks. The official requested anonymity because an official statement had not been released. The victim was wearing a heavy padded coat when plainclothes police chased him into a subway car, pinned him to the ground and shot him in the head and torso. Hours later, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ian Blair said the shooting was "directly linked" to the investigations. "For somebody to lose their life in such circumstances is a tragedy and one that the Metropolitan Police Service regrets," a police spokesman said on customary condition of anonymity.
Mmmmmm..... It's no secret that I'm highly critical of the press in general because they are often inept at their job. In this case, they are giving a lot of conflicting information. From what I've read, it would appear that some LEO's in England apparently thought this person was wearing some type of explosive device or something that was dangerous to the public. Although we don't have all of the story, it gives the appearance that the suspect was not cooperating and they were afraid of some type of explosion or attack. While the suspect may or may not be linked to the previous suspects, that lack of linkage does not automatically mean that this suspect was not planning some independent act of terrorism. We need more facts to make a logical determination about this incident.
