Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default PEPSI'S NEW PATRIOTIC? CAN

Please don't buy Pepsi in the new can. Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the Pledge of Allegiance on them. However, Pepsi left out two words on the pledge, "Under God." [/align]Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone. In that case, we don't want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either.
Ergo, if we don't buy any Pepsi products, they will not be offended when they don't receive our money that has the words "In God We Trust" engraved on it. I don't know how many of you are Pepsi drinkers, but frankly I haven't found any bourbon that goes good with Pepsi.

Don't believe everything you read it's a hoax that has been going around since 9/11.

I don't drink Pepsi, but I'm certainly not offended by their removal of "under God" from the pledge. It wasn't added until over 60 years after the pledge was written (which was penned in 1892 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Columbus' discovery of the New World). Just because they don't included a religious reference doesn't mean they don't love America and all it stands for in the name of freedom.

No but it does show that their marketing people are overpaid idiots.
why would you purposely put yourself in the middle of controversial issue when it has nothing to do with soda?

Thats like wonderbread printing "We are pro-choice" on a loaf of bread -- retarded.

Yep, you're correct. However it seems a lot of advertising today aims to shock or offend as much assell. It's the age we live in.

Of course the idiots who spend their time emailing hoaxes around the world are even worse than corporate marketers.
