I've said it before and I'm saying it again GMRS/FRS radios!! When are the idiots out there that are getting lost and injured in the woods gonna learn!? This whole ordeal would have been over three and a half days ago and we would have never heard about it. Great that he has been found and I give him credit for surviving but he made mistakes and the adults that were responsible for him oughta be brought up on charges.

GREAT he was found and thank god that area allows the ATV's that those who FOUND him were riding!!

Of course you bonehead, when an 11 year old kid gets lost in the woods that means he was unsupervised. I hope you don't have any kids.

I got myself lost in the woods one day when I was six years old. Guess my father should've gone to prison.

Your viewpoint is pretty ignorant, frankly. You have obviously never been a chaperone on an outdoors expedition with explorer-minded young kids.

An 11 year oldcity boyon a Boy Scout camping trip was left unsupervised and consequently wandered the woods for 4 days alone, you come across like it was no big deal and you're calling me ignorant. I must admit, I am at a loss for words.

An 11 year knows he shouldn,t leave the camp site with out permission. Yea blame it on the people devoting there time and money to give the kids a better life. Don,t you think they were told over and over again before and during the trip to stay with the group? You need to get a grip on something besides your chicken. Next time he will keep his arse with the group!

Ahhhh, I should have known, the hill billy "that'll teach him" attitude. Another thing, he did'nt leave camp, he was left alone somewhere outside of camp.

Great response metro you seem like a well educated city dweller. Surely your education will let you come up with more insulting terms than " hill billy " . Yes here in smallsville america we teach our young ones to stay with the group, and obey the adults in charge. Thank god all mighty the boy was found alive and well and put back in his mothers arms. I also thank him for the men and women volunteers that give of their time to show kids the great outdoors. Peace!
