Humane Society makes out like Bandits in dog poisoning case...

This story bothers me.Long story short, a local teacher was convicted of poisoning his neighbors dogs in district court. Local media was all over the case and PETA was on the local TV before, during and after the trial talking about how "killing an animal leads to killing humans" and how the guy needed to be put away. Now, this guy pays money to the Humane Society in a deal struck with a different court, and his conviction will be erased simpy because he paid the Humane Society. The same bunny huggers who said he needed to be put away are now stating the deal is great. Why??? Because the Humane Society is making out like bandits. More money for their bankroll to challenge our hunting rights...

Not sure what the stance of the Humane society is that this money was donated to, but in Va. the Humane Society is not an anti hunting orginization, they actually help sponsor some field dog trials and advice owners of hunting dogs in dog training and care.
