Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Alabama teen Natalee Holloway

Am I just a cold person, don't understand why this is dominating the national news right now.

I feel bad for her family and everything but 24/7 coverage of this, why?

Same thing with the Runaway bride.

Naw, you aint cold. But it is coverage wall to wall because this is the type of thing that interests most people. They can almost personalize it. I also think there is a fascination with morbidity in this country. I think people are waiting around to see where they'll find her body, how she was killed, who did it, etc.

Well I won't lie, i'm hoping they do find her, dead or alive. I admit the coverage is little overboard but its better then hearing about Michael Jackson all the time. I actually read another article regarding another american missing since 1998 from a ship.

I like that snowman/girl picture data

I think that more often than not these days such blaring coverage probably gets the victim killed instead of recovered . Once you're on the evening news everywhere you have no further incentive to show mercy .

I think if she wasn't kidnapped or killed, she might have wondered off in the woods, maybe went swimming and drowned. If she did in fact drown then its not likely a body will be found because of the sharks that hang out there, plus regular fish too. I never been to that island before but if there are caves among the shoreline, its possible her body may be in there.
