Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Nuke question?

If you were the head of Iran or N.Korea wouldn't it be in your best interest to develop nukes then negotiate ?

LOL,

N. Korea didn't have to "develope" nukes in the last 10 years, they had them and we knew it.

They actually told the US that if we put any troops in S. Korea they would launch on Seoul.

I don't know about Iran, but i'm sure they have some - may not have developed them but probably purchased them.

Not if you intend to negotiate with us , it's dangerous to anger the biggest dog on the block .
They think that by developing nukes they'll somehow gain enough respect to become part of the club , but it will surely only lead them to disaster since none of the current members want them in . Rattling the nuke saber is always dangerous , but more so when the one you're rattling at thinks that you're just a bug . If they were as smart as they think they are NK would quit investing in nukes and start feeding their people for a change . That will get them more respect than any nuke ever will .

No. It would be smarter to meet privately with the U.S. and explain that you have enough money for nukes but not enough to feed your people, etc. Now, how can the U.S. help us make a better choice?

If North Korea did not have nuclear weapons it would not have the option of negotiating. It would be in the same position as Iraq was before Bush launched his war.
