I don't know what state you live in but Coastie is right. Check with your state's DNR and get the deerkill statistics for hunting for the past 20 years. Then check with an auto insurance agency (a main one) and see how many auto accidents involving deer occur in your state each year. I bet you see a correlation of sorts. If you really want to put things in perspective, find out from the insurance agency what the total amount of all deer accident claims was for each year. I bet the dollar amount is staggering.
