Tard you may want to read it a bit more closely they were outside visiting with neighbors, I am not defending them entirely, but I will confess that my wife and I have sat out on the deck BSing while the baby or babies were in bed asleep. Oh yes and a couple of times on the front porch talking to neighbors, so you may want to with hold judgement a bit.

I disagree. Look at the dailey news. Yesterday it was a 10 year old stabbing a 13 year old in the chest with a steak knife over a ball and killing her. Today this. Tommorrow ? Another case where a young person brutally kills another human, and its all passed off as them being a product of society, with no one being responsible for anything.
Don't believe it - we as a society ARE getting worse. There is no value to human life anymore. Thats gone - and we're reaping the rewards of a Godless society.
I'm generally as ready as anyone to moan "What a world! What a world! What are things coming to!" On the other hand, it is hard to say what we are like today versus in the "past."
Is it worse for a 7 year old to beat-up and kill a 7 1/2 year old -- albeit his sister -- or for the two Chicago Blue-bloods, Leopold and Loeb, who deliberately stalked and killed an innocent 13 year old as a sort of philosophy experiment in the 1920s? Value life? What about the way soldiers were used pretty casually by England and France in WW-I, just throwing them into the face of machine gun fire, regardless of the cost in life.
Notwithstanding, certainly there is a general decay in society. I was thinking how commonly executives cook the books in businesses today, how commonly people don't live up to their word. There is a general lack of character and backbone. People, evidently, just don't think that this is a vital element of a well lived life. I can't imagine living my life knowing I was unscrupulous, without honor, without principle.
A 7 year old kills his sister: blame the parents for raising a monster. Have a whole class of lieing, scheming executives out to screw everyone else and the company just so they can have their pile, the blame has to lie somewhere else. You might argue lack of good christian principles, but take note that honor and principled living are not the exclusive province of good christians, nor is being christian an unfailing predictor of honorable and principled living.

This is an example of extremely poor tactics and lack of training. I don't think it had anything to do with a lack of honor or integrity per se.

While I'll agree that a person can have character and honor without being a christian, for many people that is simply too difficult of a self assigned task without the incentive of religion. Many people simply do not know or value these qualtities until they do find faith. If you accept this premise, then you can surely accept or agree that having a Godless society (or at least one where God and religion are under attack) is a society with significantly less character and honor.

One thing is the good old US has so many cry babby people that do not want to punish or disapain there kids. Or even put the people to death that have been on death row for 20/30 years.All the kids see the great prison life on the good old TV they do not know what it is realy like till they end up there than it is to late.As every one knoes any one that has spent time in prison,thinks they are bad A$$ and no one shold mess with them.
Not every one in prison needs shoot.There are resons guys are there that are laget.I just think 20 years on death row is to much. I allso think if I take my kid out in the parking lot to woop his but,I dang sure do not need some lady coming out to tell me what to do.When her kid is laying on the floor screeming for candy.
