Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Gas

Just a little humor to help ease the
pain of your next trip to the pump...

Think a gallon of gas is expensive?

Try these...

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ...... $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 .........$9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ..... $10.17 per gal! lon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 . $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 . $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ... $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 ... $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ....... .. $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .......$84.48 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water

9 oz $1.49..........$21.19 per gallon?! $21.19 for WATER - and the buyers

don't even know the source. (Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid Pepto Bismal or Nyquil.

For the life of me I have never understood why people go out and buy bottled water.... it is by far the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen money spent on.

I have a well, did you know that once the FDA gave approval that my well was clean I could bottle it and sell it !

I could make millions with "Waukesha Springs" well water.

Tard, I have a well too. Country living is great!
However, if I had to drink the water that some of these city people have coming into their homes, I'd buy bottled water too.
Or maybe I'd just do like you and wait for Beer Thirty!

I can think of one reason to buy bottle water if you live in the city. The city water in my granny's house and neighbours had a problem and caused alot of people to get sick. My mother, being one of them was in the hospital(Mayo) for 15 days and the Doctors never found out what was wrong with her. One year later they have pened it on the water and are passing out checks to everyone. Granny never drank it, she said it smelled funny. She wouldn't even cook with it.

Well, why don't you? It's a growing industry and you could make some good money.

I buy bottled because it tastes a heck of a lot better than my municipal water. And it doesn't have nearly as much as bacteria in it ("harmless" says the health inspector, but I'm not taking any chances without boiling).

Can't wait to buy some land and dig a well....

Cryptosporidium in Milwaukee actually killed some people.

I have seen this very same write-up all over the place. Frankly, it irks me. My truck doesn't burn Snapple, NyQuil or Whiteout....it burns gasoline. We don't buy gallons of any of these products every single day, week or month in most cases. AND, when we do buy qauntities of something like water we don't buy 24 individual bottles of water at $1.49....anyone with a brain buys a case(or more) at a time for about $5.

You go to you're nearest NAPA and buy a gallon of brake fluid for $13....spending nowhere near $33. You can buy Food Club water by the 2.5 gallon jug with a freakin' spout for $2.50 each at our rediculously overpriced local grocery store.

While this list of things is fun to look at it's nothing at all in relation to gasoline prices or consumption. Gasoline is not as expensive as it could be, but we use a whole lot of it and therefore it adds up quickly. Personally, I don't think people are complaining so much about the cost of gas as they are complaining about how rapidly the cost has risen.

I live along the Mississippi River where the eagles roam. I learned today that in this area, there is a high rate of people passing kidney stones. I was told that this is from drinking city water. Since I"™m not sure and until I find out different, I will derive my water from beer.

Thanks
