Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

How many deaths have been reported from forks? Lets ban forks too while they're at it. What about long pencils? Im sure someone was stabbed to death last year by a long pencil. Lets ban long pencils, and make them make short ones to help cut down on stabbings.

While we're at it, lets ban Doctors and hospitals and politicians, we all know that more deaths in this world can be attributed to medical misadventure and political scheming than any other cause. Let's go to the root source of all these deaths and just ban these two groups of individuals and have done with it.

Britons in general have descended into the the nanny state more quickly than any other civilization. Does this proposal really surprise anybody? My only question is what is the next thing they will ban in an attempt to keep mankind safe from life itself?

There are some right here in the good ol Usa calling for just that& it sounded like a funny joke- but the sad part of was it wasnt a joke. And the same person want medical drugs banned because it was claimed it treated symtoms only- & not¬ the causes of the illness[&:]

And many states here have banns on many type sharp things& knifes of verious kinds - just not kitchin ones....yet.

You realize we're heading in that direction very quickly.

Between SCOTUS looking to Europe for guidance when attempting to interpret the constitution to condoning two guys diddling each other and calling it "marriage"...

We keep a nice sharp set of Cutco knives around at all times; no safe, no child-proof cage, nothing.

Living on the edge, eh?

We also have an assortment of kitchen knives in the house. Hmmm.... I also have two axes, a small hatchet, numerous garden implements too. Oh, yeah, there's the trusty Louisville Slugger 33" baseball bat and worse yet - my golf clubs. Oooooo, let's ban golf clubs (sorry NYBH) someone could get hurt swinging an 8iron!

The crap going on in England is laughable. Worse yet is France. It's to the point of making me want to denounce part of my heritage (maternal side)....
From now on, maybe I'll just be:
German
Norwegian
Irish
Scottish
