Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Runaway Bride

She has been charged with a felony and a misdemeaner. What should she get? I think a years jail time would be good for her.

A year in the big house and she has to pay back all the money the cops and FBI used to "find her" .

And if she gets married, her hubby should be allowed to give her daily beatings...

i never heard the final outcome, but i think that she should definetly get some jail time for that one... her poor fiancee and family must have been going nuts... i think she needs some alone time to think about that with Bertha

I believe her crime is lying to the police - at least I hope that's it and it's not illegal to take a bus across country without reporting in to someone. I'm sure she'll get off with probation. I don't think she's a criminal, I am convinced she's crazy. I don't see much point in taking up valuable jail space with the likes of her - when they're releasing violent pedophiles every day. Keep jail space for criminals who present a danger to the rest of us, not these non-violent screwballs.

Yup, slap her on the wrist and send her on her way. She's learned her lesson and nobody else will pull a stupid stunt like this. We don't need to send a message or set an example. After all, Chicanos don't need to worry about the slam on them and the cops have lots of free time anyway.

She has agreed to pay something like 13000 dollars to pay the overtime for the police dept. I think she could get at least a year but she brobably won't. I think they need to send a message that reporting a false crime that requires investagation has some costs.

I know I'll feel really safe with her behind bars.
