Got an email from a friend where Jane Fonda was being named as woman of the year or person of the year, or something else stupid. I deleted it before I realized it.
I'm retired Military and I know what she did for the North Vietnamese. I won't change my mind, and on this one, I could care less what anyone has to say in her defense, "She was and is a traitor to this country and should be tried and convicted for what she did." I guess I shouldn't say this on this forum, but this is one case I would sit proudly on the squad, and love every minute, anybody that's in the military or has been knows what I'm talking about when I reference the squad. She has no place of honor in American society.

I heard the same rumor some time ago.I would be a little shocked if she rec'd any kind of "Award of the Year".
She has done nothing for society or mankind in past or recent history to deserve a damn thing except a GI boot in the Butt!
I might be inclined to forgive her dasterdlly(sp) deeds during the Vietnam era IF she would stand up in front of all Americans and sincererly apologize for her actions. In addition a seperate apology to all Military Men and Woman. I don't see that happening - but it should. my .02
Another VietNaum vet here. She is a low life worm. Thats the best I can say for her. Yep fitting company for clinton and kerry. All cut from the same lousy mold.
