Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Animal Activists - my rant

Animal rights activists are retarded.

They show up at the rally all caked up in dead fish-scale makeup, wearing leather shoes, carrying leather wallets, eating tasty chicken salads from Panera.

They pass out a zillion paper flyers and wave big signs (which came from a tree that stood in some hardwood forest that was home to an entire ecosystem). WAS home to an ecosystem, that is, until the timber guys came through and logged it all because these idiots wanted 1000 reams of paper. Now, the displaced animals seek refuge in rural suburbs. Half of them got maimed crossing the roads in the process of looking for a new home.

Next, they do animals a favor by throwing paint on expensive mink coats, only to have the coat's owner sue them for the purchase of a SECOND mink coat.

Then after it's all done, they go to their cozy loft and take a bubble bath and scrub up with some nice animal by-product soap and feel all warm and fuzzy inside because they saved a puppy, which was never really at-risk anyway.

While there are some whackos who really are hypocrites, most of the hardcore animal rights folks wear fake leather, eat fake chicken salad (garbanzo bean base), and buy "cruelty-free" cosmetics and soaps.

There is an entire "cruelty-free" industry catering to these people. Walk into a natural foods store and it'll blow your mind.

I've gone to the peta site before, although they're nuts, they had some photographs of some of their female activists dress in thong bikini's and spiked high heels that would chain themselves to a post to protest elephants in cages etc.

they were BABES.

From one of your other posts there quik, I know that you contribute to peta or something (because your girlfriend makes you), but I did not realize that you went to the rallies as well. Perhaps one day you will be elected to the board of directors, then you can set things straight. good hunting---mushrooms that is

To be correct, my lovely fiancee has given $50/year to the local chapter of the humane society every year for the past 5. We have always paid by check and earmarked the former for use specifically to pay for food for the animals on site and to defray the costs of spaying and neutering the same.

It must really offend you that I gave $50 of my hard-earned to PETA to spay and neuter dogs. Guess what? I'll be doing it again next year. I'll be giving them $50 bucks/year because it makes me feel good knowing that I've done my part
Your words (to me), Quiksilver, on the deer hunting forum.

I don't really want to get in to this again, but don't come here and say how the rally upset you because they were wearing leather and killing trees, and what hypocrites they are, when you are a member of a hunting forum (so I presume you hunt) and yet contibute to and obviously attend peta rallies.

If those whackos really researched what they were protesting and were actually true to their "cause" they would be very shocked to know the things that even they use every day are made from animal by-products.

Such as.......
Plastics, and we know just about everything is made of plastic these days.
Glass used in houses and automobiles and those "natural food" stores.
Glues that bond things like the tiles in place in those "natural food" stores, chairs, carpet, etc...
The house they live in and the office where they do their terrorist planning takes the place of where animals used to roam.

The list goes on for miles.

How many animals that use the grain fields as home get killed so that these whackos can eat "animal friendly" food?

They are ALL hypocrites.

Here is some reading you can do to better "educate" these idiots.
