The White House says Bolton, 56, a longtime U.N. critic, is needed at the United Nations to promote change within the world body.
What kind of change do you suppose?
Well, look at his resume:

Therefore by transititivity I like bolton...
Oh come on, Tard, you aren't that naive are you? You really think this guy has a genuine dislike for the UN? Even if he did and wishes to reshape or enhance the UN somehow, you really think a disarmament expert should be any where near the same sentence the UN is in? I find this move extremely interesting actually.

You know what baffles me to this day about the whole UN thing turd?
The US screamed, wailed, cried, bitc#ed and griped to get the UN created and now we are crying again cause we can't control it and make it our lap dog.
Man we need to suck it up, grow up a little and see that when stuff doesn't ALWAYS go our way, we don't have to declare war on something and walk around shouting and flailing about like madmen.
No , we don't need to suck anything up . What we need to do is withdraw from that snakepit of socialism and liberal bullsheit and send their rotten asses packing back to their own pathetic little commie countries . We've covered and/or bailed out every one of their collective asses at one time or another and got sheit on every time . Screw the bunch of them , send them home . [:@]

Historically, the term "Disarmament" in the international sense has nothing to do with personal weapons but rather the control of nuclear weapons and other military weapons and systems.
The U.N.s well known efforts to disarm the individual are part of what Bolton should/would be fighting against.
The U.N. has deteriorated into an international cesspool but the original concept was fine, a forum for nations to attempt to iron out their differences on another level of diplomacy before the shooting starts. It has obviously failed miserably in that regard and if for no other reason should be dismantled.
