Topo Maps

Hey guys,

Anyone know how or where I can get topo maps for areas in Ontario?
I'm also interested in finding a canadian website that will give me the moon times/phases. Anyone know of any?

Ellwood Epps in Orillia used to carry a pretty good assortment of Topo's. I would contact the MNR also.

If you have a Garmin GPS they have pretty good Canadian Topo maps that you can upload to the unit..

I'll try the MNR, as the GPS is not part of my hunting collection yet.

Lebaron's in Mississauga has an assortment. There is also a software program that gives you groups of maps at a reasonable cost.

The price is usually cheaper at the Sportsman show (just missed it).

Most Universities have map section in the libary or resources centres where you can photocopy topo's if your looking for a specific area. This isn't the best option when you are looking for a large spread area topo's but is a good way to view and can help in the pick n' choose process. Your MNR will have some and/or will be able to point you to firms that will for most areas in the province.

Also here is a link to Toporama that you can do from your PC, you can also order paper copies. Hope it helps.

I bought got a property ownership map from them and I had it in a couple days.
You can get get topo's, aerial photos, nautical maps, a whole bunch of stuff
