Default Paper work for selling of Firearms??

Can anyone tell me what is involved in selling of firearms to someone else?
I know that the person buying the fire arm must posses a PAL or FAC. But is there something that must be signed or returned to the CFO.

The guns have been registerd so i have to do it the right way legally to cover my own butt

thanks AL

The purchaser must have a valid PAL. You then call in the transaction to to the registration ctr. They will confirm serial # and addresses of both parties and that's it. The paper work will be mailed to you. You will get an authorization to transfer, and the buyer will get the new registration card/pc of paper. It used to cost 25 bucks but I think its still no charge at this time.
