Default Bowhunting for whitetails

I want to go bowhunting in Sask., Manitoba, or Alberta, Can you folks help me decide if I should go with my bow or gun. I'd rather go with my bow, but for the money which way is better?

Season is pretty short for bow hunting again this year in Alberta. You can still go out during the general season; just stay away from roads(too many drive-bys) What area are you planning on going to?

I am a liason with lil den outfitters in Manitoba Canada, if you would like some info on the hunts they have to offer IM ME and i can give you details. I guarantee it will be the lowest prices anywhere.

If you want to hunt with the bow, then check out the Edmonton Area Bow Zone. Outfitters in this area cater to bowhunting only and know what is required. Frankly most outfitters elsewhere cater to the gun hunter's and their set ups and timing issues may not be the best choice for a bowhunter. Like you said either way your laying out the same money and if it were me in your position I would want to hunt with outfitter who knew how to setup for that purpose not try and adapt a gun stand to my weapon of choice. Not saying it can't be done though!

What ever you decide make a short list and do your homework to ensure you'll be happy with your choice.

Best of luck!

I'd sooner go with the bow myself,I'd also have to agree with Skeeter I'd check ,my option's with the outfitter's who cater to the BowZone only.
