Default Poult Sightings?

I know this is a little early but lets see when the earliest sightings in Ontario is. It will give us an informal idea about the kind of hatch we get this year.( please let it be great). So when you see those little stripped buggers post when, what part of the province and how many. It could be interesting.

A poult is a turkey chick, hopefully we have a good hatch this year because I suspect that last years hatch was really bad.

Spotted about five poults with a single hen on the shoulder of hwy400 near Mt St Loius this morning.
When do they normally hatch? If it was a while ago the hatch doesn't look good becouse I travel >1000kms a week for work and get out of the city every weekend and these are the 1st poults I've seen this year.
Seeing tonnes of ducklings though.

I know a couple farmers who hit hens on nests while cutting their hay 2 weeks ago. I think we should start seeing they more now.

yea u r definetely right about a poor hatch last year, all the rain was bad for them. It hasnt rained here in ohio for a good while which is helping the youngens, we should have a good batch this upcoming year or next.
