This is coming together !! I downloaded the firearms form 909 today. The map of the caribou is becoming more clear--I can see the road where the camps are, the Polaris River, resivour---I'm assuming the numbersare the hunting units.

I can budget driving time from Pittsburgh to Buffalo (Niag Falls) What time should I budget from there toMatagami. I'm budgeting12 hours fromMatagami to camp.

I'm getting excited about this trip !! Many thanks to all those who have helped with all the posts. CB

We recorded our drive time last year...I will look at our log to see what our drive time was from Matagami to the Mirage...
It's getting close...... I am starting to feel the need to migrate too!!!! Thanks 00

My buddy went there last fall and was quite happy with the setup. Its a little further up than Mirage but he saw less hunters. Said the food was great.

Bob I checked our driving log, last year it took us 11.5 hrs to drive to the mirage,... But as you know it all depends on the road conditions...
hope this helps.
