Went out last Tuesday afternoon and set up camp for 5 days. Went out the first night.and wham!!!!! Bull down before sunset! good way to ruin a perfect camping trip.........
For thoughs alberta boys it was taken in 512 call season!!

Good on ya Al. Did you call this fellow in? My wife got the late season bull draw in 330 so we have to wait till Nov. to chase moose.
I think we are going to the inlaws near Smith for Thanksgiving, and a little hunting with my Daughter who will be up from Calgary where she is now at the UofC. Hope she can get a white-tail or at least some grouse.
Such a tasty beast. I am hoping late moose season provides me with an opening morning chance on a bull or calf, I ain' t picky when it comes to moose meat or not in the freezer...yummy. Congrats & enjoy your harvest...I am sure you will[8D].
