South Africa Nyala - April 2010

My husband Garry with his Nyala.

We had arrived a few hours earlier at Klein Papkuil Lodge in South Africa expecting to rest from the long flight, but they told us to get dressed and we were going out that afternoon.

Garry had his first encounter with White Rhino that afternoon and saw several other species of animals but all were staying out of bow range. Just before dark this beautiful Nyala walked into drink.

Garry took a 18 yard shot and had his first African trophy!



This was the blind that Garry shot his Nyala and Waterbuck out of.

Beautiful trophy, the Nyala is a wonderful trophy to have. Where were you specifically hunting.
