caribou are way up north and have not come down ..still lots of food where they are so they are not in a hurry to migrate down ..we changed camp twice and finally got onto a herd .i have gone up 6 times same date and this is the first time that i see bulls with velvet on the antlers at this time of the year [middle of sept.] our groupe tagged out ,but a lot of hunters saw nothing ..before leaving for ur caribou hunt phone ur outfitter and ask him if he has any caribou near his camp ..
