This posting is intended for whoever have seriously thought of hunting in South Africa. Do you know what it costs? I have compiled the advertized listed costs of hunting in South Africa as published on about 130 plus web pages and for daily rates and most species of non-trophy and trophy animals into a database.

It was pretty cheap for me(except for the actual cost of the trip). My wife is South African, and we went over this summer. I hooked up with a local PH, and he treated me as if I was a South African. Cost me nothing but gas, and food, plus R800 for my Blesbok. Next time, I'll take an Impala and a Springbok, both for under R1600. He's top notch.
