ontario hunter; I really don' t see any chance of repelling the gun law unless the Alliance is elected. I don' t even think the Conservatives would have the backbone to change the law if they got into power.

I am afraid that Dan is right and that the liberals will never drop c-68 as long as they are in power.Even worse is that the liberals will stay in power for a long time to come because the majority of the voters in ontario will continue to vote for them.

Ontario hunter-I have done far more than most people in fighting c-68.I joined the nfa and lufa and wrote several letters to mps and ministers as well as sign many petitions and I did vote for the alliance party. If every gun owner in canada had done the same we would not have c-68 or a liberal government for that matter. The bottom line is that the only way to defeat c-68 is to defeat the liberals and the people of ontario have total control in that department.

If everyone joined the Alliance (as I did), they would have money and support to fight the next election.

Keep up the goopd fight. Keep up with the POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

I have read a couple interesting things lately about having a positive or a negative attitude.
1. A shooting instructor wrote that if a shooter made a " non-10" shot and thought about the poor shot they would likely make the next shot " non-10" as well. But if they put it out of their mind and thought about all the " 10" shots they had made recently, the next shot was more likely a " 10" .

2. A researcher had some subjects do some tasks including squeesing a grip streangth measuring devise. Then he hypnotized subjects and simply told them they were not very strong. Then when awake he had them do the same tasks. Results were the same except they could not squeeze nearly as hard when they had the idea that they were not strong.

I think about the power of positive (or negative) thinking when ever I hear or read statements like the above where pepole say " I agree it should happen, but it will never happen because yada yada yada."
