Default Browning prices seem attractive...

I don't know if it's me, but everytime I see a Browning or Winchester gun lately; the price is very similar to the price in the states.

Seems like all other manufaturers jack the prices here 40% or more. Any ideas why this is?

Cheers,

M

Hmm the only thing i could think of is if maybe they produce their guns here in Canada and all the others brands are imported hence the higher price but thats just a guess.

Majority of Brownings are produced in ***an. Though I haven't seen the same thing as mustad prices appear to be the usual couple hundred more then the US that I have seen mentioned and listed. I am not talking about the MRSP listed on the browning website but rather what you'd pay in a shop/store/online in the US vs here in Canada.

Same here skeeter. I just bought a new citori and paid the same dollar amound as I would get in the states (excluding tax). I'm also in the process of getting a new sx3 and will actually pay less than i would in the states.

If you're not seeing the same thing though, it can't be something that will last too long. I guess it was lucky timing for me.

Cheers,

M

My son is looking at a Browning BPS and the prices from the states are comparible to here in Winnipeg (exchange on dollar etc.). I think it is a lot of gun for the price,
