Default Ontario regulation changes

Does anyone have an update on changes to the use of bait and lures in Ontario. I heard that the MNR was thinking about instituting changes tostop/slow down CWD but I haven't heard if anything is in place. This year I have to report any possible CWD cases because I'm in 84which has game farms in the area.

Default RE: Ontario regulation changes

Here's the write-up from the MNR website:
Pending
MNR is reviewing possible implications of the feeding of wild
deer and elk and the use of bait and attractants for deer
hunting, related to preventing or limiting the potential spread
of Chronic Wasting Disease, or other diseases, if present and is
assessing possible actions (see page 63 for more details). Please
check with your local ministry office or the ministry website at
http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/mnr/fwmenu.html
for any further
information or changes prior to the 2006 hunting season.
