Yeah been busy lately. I can't wait for a new season, just over a month until bow elk.

Here we have a draw for either-sex and a seperate just for anterless Mule Deer. This year I drew both tags, so I will be once again chasing mulie bucks!!!

Nice!! That's alot different than here. No problem to get a draw for a mulie doe every year, but 5 year wait for a buck! Good luck to ya this season and of course keep me updated on your progress.

JD, it is the same here really you have to wait for the either-sex tag (for me it was 4 year wait forthe tag).SERM doesn't give a buck only tagpersay even though that is what most hunters look for whendrawing an either sex tag. Likewiseanterless draware pretty much a yearly thing here as well.I am drawn for the same zone this year, can take 2 anterless and 1 either-sex Mule deer.

Thanks and will do. Been doing some scouting and it looks to be a great year in general here(especially deer and waterfowl). I haven't found "The Mulie", somegood 4's but nothing of the true gager nature...just yet.

Best of luck to your 06' season as well. You still planning a swing to the east this fall?

unfortunately not[:@]I hired a guy who visits family/hunts in Sask. and he booked the week off already. Since it's only 1 week long for Non-res. I'm S.O.L. Oh well, going to make my trek up North this year since I missed it last year. How is the new blackpowder going for ya?

JD, the new smokepole is working out nicely thanks. Ihavefound my fall load, grouping sub 1" at 100..so set for October 1!
